This Privacy Policy outlines how SWIFT TRADE GLOBAL LTD collects, uses, and protects personal data for Amazef.com, a UK-only buyer marketplace operated with global seller participation. This Policy is designed to meet UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Section 1
The data controller for Amazef.com is SWIFT TRADE GLOBAL LTD (Company Number 16921955), registered in England and Wales.
Amazef.com is a UK-only buyer marketplace. We process personal data for UK Buyers, international Sellers onboarding to the Platform, and Guests who browse without purchasing. This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data in compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Section 2
We collect only the data reasonably necessary to operate a secure UK marketplace with global seller participation:
Identity & Account Data
Name, email address, account credentials, and role designation (Buyer, Seller, or Guest). Buyer registration is limited to users with a UK delivery address.
Contact & Delivery Data
UK shipping and billing addresses, postcode, telephone number, and order correspondence required to fulfil purchases within the United Kingdom.
Seller & Compliance Data
For international Sellers, we collect business identity documents, beneficial ownership information, tax identifiers, bank or payout account details, and evidence required under our AML/KYC Policy.
Technical & Security Logs
IP address, device and browser data, session identifiers, fraud signals, and platform usage logs used to secure accounts and investigate abuse.
Section 3 — Critical
Critical Financial Security Protection
Amazef does NOT store, process, log, or maintain credit card, debit card, or any raw financial authentication data on its local servers or databases.
All checkout transactions are processed by PCI-DSS compliant payment partners, including Stripe. Seller payouts may be facilitated globally through secure infrastructures including Stripe Connect and Wise. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Section 4
We utilize personal data strictly under valid legal frameworks, including contract performance, legal obligations, and legitimate platform operations:
Contract Performance
To process GBP checkout payments, calculate UK VAT where applicable, manage orders, and coordinate fulfilment between UK Buyers and Sellers.
Regulatory Compliance
To meet UK tax, AML, sanctions, and financial crime obligations, including seller verification and record-keeping under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017.
Platform Security & Fraud Prevention
To verify identities, detect suspicious activity, investigate disputes, and protect Buyers, Sellers, and payment partners from fraud and abuse.
Section 5
Amazef does not sell consumer or merchant profiles to advertising brokers. Data disclosure is limited to operational infrastructure requirements:
Sellers & Fulfilment Partners
Sellers receive the Buyer name, UK delivery address, and contact details necessary to dispatch the order. Sellers must use this data only for order fulfilment and support.
Payment & Payout Providers
Stripe, Stripe Connect, Wise, and related financial partners receive the data required to process buyer payments, seller payouts, refunds, and compliance screening.
Regulators & Legal Requests
We may disclose information to UK authorities, courts, law enforcement, or tax agencies where required by applicable law or a valid legal request.
Section 6
Although Buyers are UK-based, Seller onboarding and global payout processing may require personal or business data to be transferred outside the United Kingdom.
Where such transfers occur, we implement appropriate safeguards, which may include UK International Data Transfer Agreements, Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent mechanisms recognised under UK data protection law, together with technical and organisational security measures.

UK Buyers and other data subjects whose information we control have the following rights, subject to applicable exemptions:
The Right of Access & Correction
To request complete copies of all personal logs saved on our servers, and to immediately update or rectify any obsolete data fields.
The Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")
To demand the complete destruction of your user profile and corresponding personal data layers from our databases, provided the profile maintains no active unfulfilled financial contracts or unresolved fraud disputes.
The Right to Restrict Data Processing
To object to automated background data parsing or restrict processing workflows under specific compliance scenarios.
Section 8
In accordance with our platform rules, any update or amendment to our data handling procedures will trigger an automated platform alert. Users will be strictly required to read and manually "Tick" their consent to the modified terms upon their subsequent login session to maintain account access.
