These Terms govern use of Amazef.com by UK Buyers, global Sellers, and Guests, and set out the contractual relationship with SWIFT TRADE GLOBAL LTD. Buyer services are available to United Kingdom residents only. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all incorporated policies.
Section 1
Operating Entity & Governing Law
Amazef.com is operated by SWIFT TRADE GLOBAL LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (Company Number 16921955), with its registered office at Prospect House, Featherstall Road South, Oldham, England, OL9 6HT.
These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to use of the Platform, subject to mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Section 2
UK-Only Buyer Market
Amazef.com is strictly a United Kingdom buyer marketplace. Only consumers located in the United Kingdom may register as Buyers, complete checkout, and receive deliveries through the Platform.
By creating a Buyer account or placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are ordinarily resident in the UK and that your delivery address is within the United Kingdom. We may suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe a user is attempting to access buyer services from outside the UK.
All buyer-facing prices are presented in pounds sterling (GBP). UK Value Added Tax (VAT), where applicable, is calculated in accordance with our published tax settings for UK consumers.
Section 3
Global Seller Participation
While Buyers are UK-only, Amazef welcomes Sellers from around the world, subject to onboarding, compliance verification, and continued adherence to these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy.
Sellers remain independent merchants. They are responsible for accurate listings, lawful fulfilment, and compliance with the laws applicable in their country of establishment, while delivering goods to UK buyer addresses in line with our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Guest Browsing
Unauthenticated visitors may browse public catalogues. Checkout, messaging, and order placement require a verified UK Buyer account.
Separate Buyer & Seller Accounts
Buyer and Seller roles require distinct registrations. Role permissions, analytics, and dashboards are segregated for security and compliance.
Section 4
Payments, Escrow & Global Seller Payouts
Buyer payments on Amazef.com are collected in GBP through PCI-DSS compliant payment processors and held under SWIFT TRADE GLOBAL LTD's marketplace controls until orders are approved, fulfilled, and settled in accordance with our policies.
Amazef facilitates seller payouts globally through secure payment infrastructures including Stripe Connect and Wise, supporting cross-border remittances to our international partners/sellers.
Buyer Charges
Checkout totals include the seller's listed price plus applicable UK VAT, platform fees, and payment processing components as displayed before payment confirmation. All amounts are charged in GBP.
Platform Commission
SWIFT TRADE GLOBAL LTD deducts the platform commission percentage published in our Platform Commission settings from the seller's catalogue base price before net seller payout is calculated.
Seller Settlement
Approved seller payouts are released only after administrative payment approval and successful compliance checks. Disbursements may be routed via Stripe Connect and/or Wise to the seller's verified payout destination, subject to identity verification and sanctions screening.
Section 5
Seller Tax & Regulatory Compliance
Sellers are solely responsible for taxes, duties, and regulatory obligations in their home jurisdiction and for the accuracy of business information supplied during onboarding.
Tax & Filing Evidence
We may require sellers to provide evidence of tax registration, VAT filings, or equivalent compliance documentation. Failure to maintain accurate records may result in payout holds or account restriction.
UK Consumer Law Alignment
Although sellers may be based internationally, goods sold to UK Buyers must comply with applicable UK consumer protection standards, including accurate descriptions, safe products, and lawful fulfilment practices.
To protect UK consumers and payment partners, Amazef enforces a strict remedy where sellers dispatch materially incorrect, counterfeit, or fraudulent goods.
Where a UK Buyer provides verifiable proof—such as clear photographic evidence, a continuous unboxing video, or other conclusive documentation—that the item received is not as described or is counterfeit, the seller forfeits entitlement to payout for that order. The Buyer receives a full refund to the original payment method, and the seller's account may be suspended or permanently removed.
Section 7
Suspension, Termination & Policy Updates
SWIFT TRADE GLOBAL LTD reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that breaches these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, AML/KYC requirements, or applicable law.
Mandatory Re-acceptance
Material updates to these Terms may require you to review and accept the revised version before continuing to use the Platform.
Enforcement Records
Enforcement actions, including suspensions and bans, may be recorded in our administrative systems for audit, fraud prevention, and regulatory purposes.
